A Wifi Hot-spot, or Hot spot HotSpot or hotspot is a venue that offers internet access over a wireless LAN through the use of a shared internet connection and a single router. Hot Spots can typically be found in coffee shops and various other public establishments throughout much of North America and Europe.
You can setup your own wireless connection point with a simple wireless router for your home or office. To use any Wifi wireless hotspot you must have a computer or laptop with a wireless card. If it is not an open wireless connection point then you may need to know the password to use it.
